Black Tax Fest – Ticket Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase and use of tickets to Black Tax Fest (the “Event”). By purchasing a ticket, you (“Attendee”) agree to these Terms in full. Please read them carefully.
1. Ticket Policy

  • All ticket sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Tickets are non-transferable and may not be resold, reassigned, or gifted to another person.

  • Black Tax Fest reserves the right to require photo identification at entry to verify ticket ownership.

2. Event Entry

  • A valid ticket is required for admission. Duplicate or counterfeit tickets will not be honored.

  • Black Tax Fest reserves the right to deny entry or remove any Attendee who violates these Terms or engages in disruptive, unsafe, or unlawful behavior.

  • No refunds will be issued if entry is denied due to policy violations.

3. Event Changes

  • The Event’s programming, schedule, speakers, entertainment, and venue are subject to change at any time without notice.

  • A ticket guarantees entry to the Event but does not guarantee a particular speaker, workshop, or session.

4. Postponement & Cancellation

  • If the Event is postponed, tickets will automatically transfer to the rescheduled date. Refunds will not be issued.

  • If the Event is canceled, Black Tax Fest will communicate next steps to Attendees via email at the address provided at purchase.

5. Chargebacks & Disputes

  • By purchasing a ticket, you agree not to dispute or chargeback the transaction.

  • Any attempt at a chargeback will be contested with proof of purchase, acceptance of these Terms, and evidence of ticket delivery.

6. Liability Waiver

  • Attendees assume all risks associated with attending the Event, including but not limited to travel, lodging, and participation in Event activities.

  • Black Tax Fest, its affiliates, organizers, sponsors, and partners are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, theft, or damage incurred at or in connection with the Event.

7. Media & Photography Release

  • By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded.

  • Black Tax Fest reserves the right to use such media for promotional, marketing, and archival purposes without compensation.

8. Code of Conduct

  • Attendees must behave respectfully toward staff, vendors, speakers, and fellow attendees.

  • Harassment, discrimination, unlawful activity, or disruptive conduct will not be tolerated. Violators may be removed without refund.

9. Accessibility

  • We are committed to providing accessibility where possible. Please email info@blacktaxfest.com at least 30 days before the Event to request accommodations.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Georgia (Event jurisdiction).

  • Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Fulton County, Georgia.
